The stool or side table ECAL Gradient Yellow was designed by swiss designer Nicolas Le Moigne for the exhibition Édition limitée I at Kissthedesign gallery in Lausanne in 2013. In 2015, the hand made stool enters the CNAP (Centre National des Arts Plastiques, France) collection.

Nicolas Le Moigne *1979 in Fontainebleau (F). Graduated in product design from the ECAL, Lausanne in 2005 and Master in 2007. He lives and works in Lausanne.
He teaches from 2007 at the ECAL and become head of the MAS Luxe (Master in luxury design) from 2012.
Nicolas Le Moigne collaborates with many brands like Eternit, Atelier Pfister, Omega, Dadadum, Serralunga and ViceVersa on furniture and product design projects.
In 2008 he meets the london gallerist Libby Sellers and starts developing limited design projects. Since then, he regularly works with her and other galleries, notably Helmrinderknecht, Zürich / Berlin, Galerie Kissthedesign, NextLevel, Paris and Ediciones Jalapa, Mexico City.
His works have been awarded many times over, for instance by the swiss design award in 2012 and 2008, the Leenaards foundation grant in 2009, Designboom competition and Berner Design award as well as a nomination at the Design Preis Schweiz in 2007.
Nicolas Le Moigne has been exhibited internationally including at Helmrinderknecht Zürich and Berlin, Libby Sellers, London, NextLevel, Paris, Museum Bellerive, Zürich, centre culturel suisse de Paris, Grand Hornu, Brussels, Museum of contemporary Art (Moca), Shanghai, Saatchi Gallery (in collaboration with P. De Pury), London, Galerie Kreo, Paris, Museo de las Cineas Principe Felipe, Valencia, etc.
