Finn Juhl designed the Japan collection\u00a0in 1953 for France & Son, one of the most important\u00a0manufacturer of danish design furniture during the 20th century.
\nThe highly collectable\u00a0Japan chairs and sofa are today reissued\u00a0by\u00a0Onecollection\u00a0and produced in Japan, though the version with teak frame is no longer in production and so\u00a0highly desirable for every design lovers and collectors.<\/p>\n

Rare Japan\u00a0sofa, with original\u00a0brown\u00a0fabric upholstery. Frame in solid teak (no longer in production) et brass parts. With manufacturer’s tag.

Finn Juhl (1912-1989) is considered like the father of Danish modernism. His furniture reflects an emphasis on craftsmanship and organic forms. Finn Juhl created an historic design that came to have international consequences for Denmark as a design nation during the 20th century.
