Rare LCW (Lounge Chair Wood), Charles & Ray Eames, first production\u00a0Evans.<\/h2>\n

Charles & Ray\u00a0Eames had a major influence on the\u00a0design history of the 20th century, they opened the path to mass production.<\/p>\n

The LCW was designed in 1945, produced between 1946 and 1949 by Evans and from 1949 by Herman Miller.\u00a0Today the\u00a0LCW, DCW, LCM and\u00a0DCM models are still produced in the USA by Herman Miller and in Europe by Vitra.<\/p>\n

The LCW is an early Evans production, a true must-have for every collectors of mid century modern design icons.<\/p>\n

Rare LCW – lounge chair wood – made of ash\u00a0plywood, first Evans edition, produced only between 1946 and\u00a01949. 5 \u2013 2 \u2013 5 screw configuration, oval shockmount and original Evans tag.
