Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was born at La Chaux-de-Fonds, in Switzerland, in 1887; he died in France, in 1965.<\/div>\n
The multi-talented Le Corbusier was at the same time a painter, architect, designer and writer, he is now recognized\u00a0as one of the most influent architect of the 20th century design.<\/div>\n

The LC3 armchair, also called Grand Confort, grand mod\u00e8le, is the larger version of the LC2 armchair and a design icon. Designed in 1928, it is the archetype of the modern chair. The careful separation of the frame from its inner cushions showcases\u00a0the chair\u2019s\u00a0rationalist approach.<\/p>\n
