Vase, Tamara Aladin, Riihim\u00e4ki, Riihimaen Lasi Oy, ca. 1960.<\/h2>\n

Riihim\u00e4ki, or Riihimaen Lasi Oy from 1937, is one of the largest and most famous glass manufacture from Finland. \u00a0Founded in 1910 in Riihim\u00e4ki, Finland, the company was very popular during the 50\u2019s and the 60\u2019s. Most of the brand\u2019s mid century items was designed by the 3 designers Helena Tynell, Nanny Still and Tamara Aladin that joined them in 1959. They design usefull, innovative, coloured and affordable glass objects, that are still beloved today amongst vintage design enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
