Important (30 cm) yellow, blue and white ceramic vase.

Martine Bedin designed the Cucumber flower vase in 1985 for Memphis Milano. An object not thought for simple use but for a long contemplation, the ceramic vase is a true collector’s item.

French designer Martine Bedin (*1957) was one of the founding member of the Memphis group. With its multi-coloured toy shape, the Super lamp belongs to the “classics” of the 80’s avant-garde movement. Unlike the infamous Carlton bookcase, the Tahiti and Treetops lights by Ettore Sottsass or the Oceanic lamp by Michele De Lucchi, the Super was designed in 1981 for the inaugural Memphis Milano exhibition.
