Pierre Guariche designed this timeless and majestic wall lamp in 1951 and it is the emblematic model of the French style of the 1950s. The adjustable shade in lacquered metal (vermilion red, black, white and chalk) houses two light sources for direct and indirect lighting. The arm is decorated with a counterweighted ball, both in brass, allowing the light to be directed easily.

Guariche was a prolific and innovative designer and architect, best know for the lighting he designed for Disderot in the 1950s. He founded l’Atelier des recherches plastiques (A.R.P.) with Joseph André Motte and Michel Mortier, while working with design firms such as Airborne, Meubles TV, Huchers-Minvielle and Steiner.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1486917974905{padding-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″]
