Table lamp G24 from Pierre Guariche for Sammode Studio
The elegant and sculptural G24 table lamp was designed in 1953 by Pierre Guariche and is available in four colours: English green, vermilion red, black and sand. Sammode Studio, the manufacturer, produces all its lighting in Châtillon-sur-Saône in Les Vosges.
Guariche was a prolific and innovative designer and architect, best know for the lighting he designed for Disderot in the 1950s. He founded l’Atelier des recherches plastiques (A.R.P.) with Joseph André Motte and Michel Mortier, while working with design firms such as Airborne, Meubles TV, Huchers-Minvielle and Steiner.
