Potence Pivotante by Charlotte Perriand, Nemo
Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999) is one of the most influent french modernist designer. Together with Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé or Pierre Jeanneret, she is part of the 50’s designer whose works are highly collectible.
Nemo Lighting has reintroduced the minimalistic wall lamp Potence Pivotante originally designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1938.
Large wall lamp. Body in aluminium and metal, matt black lacquered. Opal glass bubble diffuser. Arm fixed to the wall and rotating 180° on an horizontal axis. Cable with plug and dimmer.

Nemo was founded in 1993 in Milan by Franco Cassina, owner of Cassina S.p.A. and by Carlo Forcolini, that felt the need of a project based on innovation, rooting in the tradition that inspired the Italian design.

Nemo reissues famous lamps by design masters from the 20th century like a.o Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini et Kazuhide Takahama. Thanks to the lighting division of Cassina, some rare and valuable models like Corbusier’s lampe de Marseille, Perriand’s potence pivotante, or CP1 sconce, are now affordable.
