Riihimäki, or Riihimaen Lasi Oy from 1937, is one of the largest and most famous glass manufacture from Finland. Founded in 1910 in Riihimäki, Finland, the company was very popular during the 50’s and the 60’s. Most of the brand’s mid century items was designed by the 3 designers Helena Tynell, Nanny Still and Tamara Aladin that joined them in 1959. They design usefull, innovative, coloured and affordable glass objects, that are still beloved today amongst vintage design enthusiasts.
