Inspired by modern art, Finn Juhl designed the Poet sofa for his own home in 1941. Today this sofa is a part of Danish cultural history and modern furniture. Poeten is made to the finest manufacturing standards with hand-sewn upholstery.

Finn Juhl’s furniture reflects an emphasis on craftsmanship and organic forms. Finn Juhl created an historic design that came to have international consequences for Denmark as a design nation. His style became known as Danish Modern.
