The secretary desk nbr 65 is one of Arne Wahl Iversen’s rare icons. The Danish designer is not as famous as other Scandinavian Moderns, but since 2000 his furniture has found renewed popularity among vintage furniture lovers. Some high-end pieces, including the rare 65 desk, are now highly sought after by collectors and of great value.
Designed in 1961 by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Møbelfabrik, the desk 65 is a great example of Danish modern design with tapered legs. This wonderful piece of furniture mixes quality cabinetmaking and refined brass details.
The exemplar retains the manufacturer’s stamp and is in very good condition with patina and wear. It still has one original key.
