Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was born at La Chaux-de-Fonds, in Switzerland, in 1887; he died in France, in 1965.
The multi-talented Le Corbusier was at the same time a painter, architect, designer and writer, he is now recognized as one of the most influent architect of the 20th century design.

This lightweight and compact chair is a counterpoint to the LC2 chair, more massive. A true classic of 20th century design.
